In this session delivered at the POD Conference, I presented on writing alt text descriptions and why they are so vital, how purpose and context are crucial (and subjective!), and what you’re trying to communicate when you include images, graphs, and more in your documents and websites. The session also includes a meta-discussion on how to adapt this workshop for different disiplines and audiences.
